Multi-platinum selling pop-rock band, Watershed, will be leading the unmissable line-up of live music at SA’s biggest gin celebration, the East Rand Gin Festival on 13 July. Having racked up two SAMA Awards for Best Pop Album and as winners of People Magazine’s Best SA Band Award for many years, Watershed are a household favourite.
Also performing during the festival are a proudly local line-up, including:
- Indie-folk band Jerry and the Bandits that have taken inspiration from Mumford and Sons, Johnny Clegg, Vance Joy, Of Monsters and Men, Fleetwood Mac, The Lumineers, Jeremy Loops, Bruce Springsteen and Ben Howard.
- Is it black with white stripes? Or is it white with black stripes? No, it’s Zebra, a band that truly defines entertainment with a blend of comedy and musical talent.
- Ever met a man that can play five musical instruments? Jacques Mouton’s poetic blend of modern flamenco, jazz and all contemporary acoustic styles will have your feet tapping with his soulful vocals, guitar and kick drum.
- DJ Steve will be “spinning the decks” with his metropolitan, afro sounds that have appeared in singles by Dr Malinga and Oskido Professor.
