I would just like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation towards the whole of Birchwood Management and ALL the staff for a job well done. We were amongst your fan club visitors for yesterday the 11th July 2010 Soccer Final. Whow !!! what an experience. It was excellent. We were there, just about the whole day and what a complement to you all - everything was organised to perfection - STUNNING! We had an absolute ball. My only regret is that I did not go to Birchwood for any of the other games. I was quite lucky I ended up going to a few of the matches and for a few others we went to Saints. Birchwood was much much better then Saints. The variety of food and drink and areas was really fantastic and the prices were reasonable. Well done to you and all your team involved with this project.

I would just like to compliment the team at The Birchwood regarding the IFV, I think that we are often quick to complain and slow to compliment! I have attended a couple of matches and will be attending the final. It is very well organised, the parking arrangements are good and the drinks and food are not overpriced. I see there is a medical room if needed which is wonderfully reassuring. All in all it has been a great experience and all my friends have also really enjoyed it. So once again compliments to the team.

I was there on Sunday afternoon. It was fantastic. The live bands make such a difference to the atmosphere. Very impressed. Hopefully will be there for the finals too.

Our first visit was with the opening match and this is just to let you know that the Birchwood hotel was an absolute bliss to be at. My son, his girl friend and quite a few of his friends absolutely raved about it and went there thrice after that. Rated your venue the best so far. The vibe was just the greatest, therefore we just wanted to convey compliments to whoever done the organizing of all the events thus far. Thank you for a lovely opportunity to attend the official opening of the 2010 World Cup at your International Football Village. It really was an unforgettable experience. May I take this opportunity to congratulate the Birchwood Executive Hotels in their planning and execution of this great experience. The entertainment is great and I can’t not mention the beautiful idea of dipaola - “the African fire-places”, it brings a lovely African flair to the event. I enjoyed myself so much that I have actually attended three more soccer matches at your village. I have even invited friends over and they also enjoyed themselves. The entertainment is great and let me mention that though South Africa is out of the running now; I will still be visiting your village and will definitely be there for the closing ceremony too.

Yesterday I decided to take my family to Football Village to watch the football games. I would just like to say well done to all involved. What an awesome time and experience we all had. Great job!!! We've been attending functions at Birchwood since it's inception and they have always been fantastic but you have really out done yourself this time. Great vibe, brilliant concept, super food and facilities. We had a ball!

Although we know Birchwood is capable of arranging a well organized event, we were both very surprised of how well it was organized, as it was clear that there were thousands of people present on Friday. There were sufficient bar and food stalls which not only were adequately staffed by FRIENDLY staff members but were suitably stocked as well. The queue lines were negligible throughout the night, which made getting drinks and food effortless. Based on the number of people trying to get into the venue, this could have proved problematic, however for Birchwood this was not the case, getting into the venue was effortless as there were sufficient staff members and turn styles. We were in within 10 minutes, which was very impressive. In addition to the above, there were sufficient clean toilets available, which meant our night was not spent in toilet queues. Based on the above and the variety of entertainment areas, Birchwood’s fan park is definitely the BEST FAN PARK IN JHB and possibly the best in the whole of SA. We will not only recommend this venue to our friends and family but also encourage our employers to have all work functions at Birchwood. We realize running an event of this magnitude is very complex but you pulled it off without hiccups and you deserve recognition for this.

I was so amazed at how great Football Village is i recommended it to my compnay and they have now booked 20 places in a skybox to watch the final thier on 11 July! it's been a great incentive and reward for our sales teams so we're very excited and so glad the IFV has made viewing the world cup so convenient and so much fun!
