Young Women taking the lead

YOUNG WOMEN IN BUSINESS NETWORK 2nd ANNUAL SUMMIT  

In association with Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre we present the second annual Young Women in Business Network summit. The summit is an annual business summit that aims to harness the potential of young business women by empowering them to make informed life and business choices.

 The summit aims to encourage women to see themselves as more than just competitive business role players, but empower them to understand their role and direct contribution to help maintain and strengthen the overall economy of the country.

 The 2011 annual delegates have the honour of former President Thabo Mbeki addressing them. The formerstates man will share his insights and advice on the in’s and out’s of BBBEE Investments, and the national economic challenges and opportunities facing the youth in general and young women in particular.

 Along with former president Mbeki, will be the former Land Affairs and Public Works Minister Thoko Didiza. She will address the gathered young women in business on Access to Government business opportunities.

 Further topics for discussion will be:

  • Access to corporate BBBEE Investments presented by Elizabeth Sangion , founder of AWEVEST & WIFAH)
  • Young business women and BEE opportunities presented by Israel Noko, BEE executive of BEESA
  • Access to corporate enterprise development funding presented by Reggie Nxumalo, CEO of Brevity Management Services (Pty) Ltd
  • Self and corporate branding presented by Donna Rachelson, best selling author of Branding and Marketing YOU

 

 This exciting gathering, designed to cater for the needs and concerns of young women interested in business will be held on Friday 26 & Saturday 27 August 2011 at the Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre cost is R1800 per person payable in two instalments.
