OPENING: MAJOY
LAUNCH: NALEDI KING
CLOSING: NTANDO
The Oude Meester Ekurhuleni Comes Alive jazz evening 2011 is getting more exciting and one cannot wait for the big one in June when the concept will be turning 10 years officially. The build up to the biggest celebration of the jazz starts with our next line up on the 8th April 2011. Be part of April wise with the new sensation MAJOY from Limpopo, NALEDI KING and the evergreen NTANDO. This is the night patrons will experience the fresh sound of our inaugural musos in MAJOY and NALEDI KING. Both jazz ladies will be making their first appearance at the hotel while NTANDO needs no introduction to our loyal patrons. Having had an opportunity to watch Naledi perform at the Wits theater, it became logical to afford the Oude meester Ekurhuleni comes alive jazz evening an opportunity for them to how much talent the country possesses in music. The biggest surprise of the night will be MAJOY. The Mokopane born jazz lady is underrated and fairly unknown but she is undoubtedly the best jazz artists to be seen in the jazz circles.
Patrons can look forward to the fresh sound and international artistic and performance by Naledi King, who one believes will be greatest thing after the legendary and the late Marriam Makeba. With Ntando offering new songs on his new album, the 8th April will definitely be April Wise and not fool.
This is a special evening for our patrons and we would like to encourage them to book their seats in advance as it will be a bumper evening. Be lucky on the evening and win hampers from DSTV, OUDE MEESTER BRANDY, City of Ekurhuleni, KAYA FM & BIRCHWOOD HOTEL & OR TAMBO CONFERENCE CENTRE.
